Rev. Wayne D. Carter, 65, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2011. He was a Pentecostal Minister, civil engineer, salesman, business owner and a member of First Pentecostal Church in North Little Rock.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sylvia (Palir) Carter, of North Little Rock; son, Thomas W. Carter, of Little Rock; two grandsons, Sidney and Wyatt Carter, of Cabot; brother, Matt R. Carter, of Little Rock; sister, Leslie Jo Dickinson of Birmingham, Alabama and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday at First Pentecostal Church in North Little Rock. Burial will be in Meadow Brook Cemetery in Beebe. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St. 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
