Paul Leslie Bass, Jr., 65, of Beebe, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2011. He was born March 8, 1946, in Beebe, Arkansas, to Paul “Mutt” and the late Ora Mae Scroggs Bass. He retired from Little Rock Coca Cola Bottling Company after twenty-two years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Most of all, he enjoyed fishing at his cabin in Georgetown and hunting with his buddies. He also spent a lot of time collecting guns and arrowheads.
He is survived by daughters Teresa (Charlie) White of Beebe and Linda (Tim) Whitt of Bryant; one special granddaughter, Julie White; his father, Paul “Mutt” Bass of Beebe; three brothers, Jim Bass, Jerry Bass, and Donnie Bass, all of Beebe; one sister, Barbara Watts of Rison; and a host of family and good friends.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2011, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
