Sue Self, 66, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Friday, March 26, 2004, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. Born June 1, 1937, in Roff, Okla., she was the daughter of Louie Ray Bettis and Mary Carmen Ivey Bettis. Sue had lived in Siloam Springs since 1976, formerly of Bristow, Okla.

She was a homemaker and a former employee of Franklin Electric. Sue was a member of Summers Freewill Missionary Baptist Church in Summers, Ark. She was preceded in death by a son, Cody Self; and twin sister, Tommie Lou Johnson.

Survivors include two sons, Mark Self of Siloam Springs; Michael Self of Los Angeles, Calif.; four daughters, Debbie Hoyt of Verona, Mo.; Peggy Self of the home; Kaye Young of Gentry, Ark.; Luann Jenison of Siloam Springs; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Alta Schmer of Nebraska; and Gail McNeely of New Boston, Texas; and a number of nieces and nephews.
