HUBERT F. ELSNER
Hubert F. Elsner, 63, Rt. 1, Gentry, died July 15 in Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 1, 1911, at Kinsley, Kan., he was the son of Walter and Edith Maxey Elnser, a member of Gentry United Methodist Church and a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Celeste Elsner of the home; one son, Gary Elsner, Berkley, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Celeste Phillips, Little Rock, and Miss Ginger Elsner, Siloam Springs; one brother, Elmer Elsner, Gentry; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Robertson, Texarkana, and Mrs. Dorothy Berridge, Gentry; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, with the Rev. David Driver and the Rev. David Moose officiating. Burial will be in Gentry Cemetery under the direction of Wasson.

Celeste Elsner
GENTRY — Celeste Lucille Stone Elsner, 90, of Boca Raton, Fla., died May 8, 2006. She was born March 12, 1916, in Houstonia, Mo., to Jacob and Lillie Stephens Stone. She and her husband moved to the Gentry area in 1935 and in 1995, they moved to Boca Raton. She was a member of the Springtown United Methodist Church for 35 years and the Gently UMC for 18 years. She was preceded in death by her husband. Herbert F. Elsner, in 1975.
Survivors include one daughter, Celeste Elsner Phillips and husband Roy of College Station, Texas; one son, Gary H. Elsner and wife Joan of Delray Beach, Fla.: one daughter, Ginger Elsner Moore and husband Scott of Gilbert, Ariz.: eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Services will he at 2 p.m. today at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, online at www.wassonfurieralhome.com. Burial will be in Gentry Cemetery.
