Mr. W.T. Kimsey
The friend whose name heads this article had been a citizen of our town for four years before the promotion to the heavenly habitation. After the work of rearing and educating her children had been complete, she and her husband left the farm where they had maintained a happy home for fourteen years. Mrs. Kimsey was unobtrusive, kindly and Christian in her character, 68 years being the span of her life on this earth. The funeral was conducted by the Rev. Edward Parsons, assisted by the Rev. J.E. Whitehead of Siloam Springs. The services were held at 2 o'clock Wednesday, Dec. 21 in the Congregational church of Gentry and the remains laid to rest in the Oak Hill cemetery, Siloam. She was the mother of five children, three surviving her, two having died in childhood. At an early age Mrs. Kimsey united with the Presbyterian church. On moving to Gentry she united with the Congregational church of which she was a faithful member until the time of her death.
