LONDAGIN, Earl - The many friends of Earl Londagin of Decatur were shocked and grieved to learn of his untimely death Monday evening following an operation for appendicitis. Earl, who was an expert machinist, has conducted a garage at Neosho for several months, selling out the business a few weeks ago. Since that time he has been at Decatur with home folks. Last week he was suddenly stricken with appendicitis and was operated on last Wednesday but it proved too late then to save his life. He was twenty-two years old and leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. D.C. Londagin, and a sister, Mrs. Ivan Cato, other relatives and many friends who will greatly mourn him. Earl was one of the most popular, bright, energetic and beloved lads in west Benton county and had friends all over that section of the county. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon and he was laid to rest in the City cemetery in the presence of a large number of friends who came to pay their last farewell. The entire community sends its sympathy to the bereaved ones for theirs is the bereavement of all.
