SILOAM SPRINGS — Mildred Opal Bowles, 99, of Siloam Springs died March 11, 2005, at Fullerton, Calif. She was born March 26, 1905, in Nebraska to Charles E. and Rebecca Fair Kelly.
She was a homemaker and a member of the United Methodist Women's Guild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Sanford Bowles Sr., in 1977, and one daughter, Janelle January, April 17, 2003.
Survivors include two sons, John S. "Sandy" Bowles of Fullerton, Calif., and Jesse Carroll Bowles of Riverside, Calif.; one daughter, Gaylene Crowder of Fullerton; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m Monday at Bethel United Methodist Church in West Siloam Springs, Okla., with the Rev. Biff Averate and the Rev. Joel Betow officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
