GAINES, Wm. - Wm. Gaines, who came here with his wife two weeks ago from Wilmot, Ark., died Sunday morning of heart and kidney troubles, from which he had suffered for years. He was 72 years old. Funeral services were held at the home Monday morning and were conducted by Rev. Bates. The Masons had charge of the burial. Mr. Gaines bought the Park Jackman place on West Walnut street last fall.

GAINES, Elizabeth Ann - Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Gaines died on last Thursday noon at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. L.D. McLain on West Walnut street at the age of 94 years. Funeral services were held at the Central Methodist church Friday morning at 10 o'clock and burial was in the Rogers cemetery. Mrs. Gaines had lived here for a number of years, her husband dying some years ago.
