W. A. (ABB) WHITTLE

William A (Abb) Whittle, 66, 306 Caudle Ave , Springdale, died July 14 at home. Born Aug 2, 1907, in Rogers, he was the son of Hartchel and Della Ellenbarger Whittle, a member of the Holiness Church, a retired truck driver, veteran of World War II, a member of Shelton-Tucker American Legion Post 27 and a lifetime resident of the area.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs Oval Overton Whittle of the home whom he married March 12, 1940; one son, Harold Whittle, Springdale; one daughter, Mrs Eddie (Vonda) Ledbetter, Pasadena, Tex.; one brother, Fay Whittle, Springdale, and two grandchildren.
