CALLIE HEINEY
Mrs. Callie "Connie" Heiney, 78, Greensboro, N.C., formerly of Springdale, died Nov. 18 in a Greensboro hospital. Born March 7, 1900, in Siloam Springs, she was the daughter of James Louis and Cora Moss Convirs. She was the wife of the late Walter Floyd Heiney Sr., member of First Christian Church in Springdale, attended Pittsburg, Kan., State Teachers College and taught in elementary schools in Siloam Springs and Arkansas City, Kan.
Survivors include a son, Dr. W. Floyd Heiney Jr. of Greensboro; two daughters, Mrs. Donald H. (Jennie) Roberts of Mobile, Ala., and Mrs. Donna Murray of Napa, Calif.; a brother, Lester H. Convirs of Wichita, Kan.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Sisco Chapel.
