OZARK -- Mae Atkerson, 92, of Ozark, Arkansas died Tuesday, December 2, 1997, in Ozark. She was a homemaker and a member of the Ozark Extension Club. Funeral will be 2 pm today at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark with burial at Hixon Cemetery in Ozark. She is survived by daughter, Ouita Jeffers of Ozark; sister Bertha Casey of Ozark; and grandson Rogers Jeffers of Ozark. Pallbearers will be Bob Bankston, Harold Roland, Dewayne Smith, Jim Trotter, Kenneth Trotter and Thurman Trotter. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Free Will Baptist Church.
