Phoenix Ivey
SPRINGDALE — Phoenix Skaggs Ivey, 76, of Springdale died June 18, 2002, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born June 16, 1926, in Huntsville to Corley Thadeous and Lucy Warren Skaggs. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Her husband, Clarence Ivey, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Edward A "Andy" Ivey and wife Marsha, K. Alan Ivey and wife Kathy, all of Springdale; two daughters, Carla Ann White and husband Lester of Springdale and Arlene Faulkner of North Richland Hills, Texas; one brother, Herman Skaggs of Huntsville; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sisco Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. Barry Smith officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jim Hall, Brian Faulkner, Johnny Taylor, Steve Butler, Shawn Skaggs and Justin Banner.
Visitation begins at 11 a.m. today at the funeral home. The family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m.
