Delca Ann Hewitt

SPRINGDALE — Delca Ann Hewitt, 73, of Springdale, died June 13, 2012, in Little Rock. She was born June 24, 1938, at Lavaca, Ark., to Dalphia and Clara Elkins House.

She was a member of Faith Regular Baptist Church. Delca was a homemaker and also helped her husband with the farm. She also enioyed cooking, gardening and sewing, but most of all spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy D. Hewitt; two children, Marilyn and Lance Bearden; one brother, Woody House; and one sister, Wilma Watson.

She is survived by two sons, Alan Bearden and wife, Martha, of Fayetteville, and Mark Bearden and wife, Sandra, of Springfield, Mo.; one stepson, Bill Hewitt of Texas; one brother, J.D. House of Lavaca; three sisters, Betty Berry of Charleston, Eunice Waggoner and Connie Cox, both of Fort Smith; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Faith Regular Baptist Church, with the Rev. Gary Jewell and the Rev. Guy Durkee officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.

Pallbearers are Nathan Bearden, Jason Grimes, Brett Sterling, Vincent Bearden, Nick Bearden and Justin Bearden.
