MELBOURNE — Zelma Moser Lamb, 88, of Melbourne died Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, in Calico Rock.
Born Feb. 25, 1918, in Guion, she was the daughter of Luther "Short" Moser and Mamie Eary Moser. She was united in marriage to Burton "Red" Lamb in 1938. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Melbourne First Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, Melbourne Chapter 561.
Survivors include two sons, Burton Lamb and Charlie Lamb, both of Melbourne; a sister, Louise Neal of Middletown, Ohio; three grandchildren, Tony Lamb of Pineville, Crystal Turner of Batesville and Lisa Pitts of Melbourne; and five grandchildren, Matthew Pitts, Morgan Lamb, Kori Lamb, Andrew Pitts and Addison Turner.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, L. W. Moser; and two sisters, Merle Johnson and Imogene Turnbull.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Roman and Billy Howard Memorial Chapel in Melbourne with Doyne Robertson officiating. Burial will be at Lunenburg Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Glen Williams, Shannon Womack, Roy Bookout, Bill Wright, John Teague and Lee Watson.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight.
