George O. Martin, age 68, of Pearcy, an avid hunter and fisherman went to the happy hunting grounds Sunday, March 8, 2009, he was of the Baptist faith. He was born July 4, 1940 in Little Rock, Arkansas a son of the late Elbert E. Martin and Lois Hurst Martin.
He is survived by his sons, Matthew Martin of Little Rock, and Patrick Martin of Lebanon, Missouri; brothers, Robert Martin and Delbert Martin both of Bigelow; sisters, Modean Parks of Bigelow, Goldie Lee of Houston, and Freda Blair of Bigelow; thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday March 13, at Vollman Cemetery with Rev. Ed James officiating. Arrangements by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
