Percy C. Hight, Jr., age 81, of Bigelow, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2008. He was born February 6, 1927, in Bigelow, Arkansas, a son of Percy Hight, Sr. and May B. Abbott Hight. He was a retired truck driver, and a member of Crawfordsville Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Vicki Conner of Trumann; three brothers, Noel Hight of West Palm Beach, Florida, Walter Hight of Bigelow, and Harold Hight of Bay Minette, Alabama; five sisters, Emma Ingram of Shreveport, Louisiana, Ann Anderson of Janesville, Wisconsin, Margaret Boyd of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Mary Lou Jones of Bigelow, Norma Whitten of Rowlett, Texas; three grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Nelga Kryer Hight and a son, Charles Larry Hight.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 15, 2008, at Volman Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 14, at the funeral home.
