Graveside services for Thomas Earl "Sam" Moody, 86, of Berryville, were held August 22, 1992 at l0 a.m. at the Moore Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Spurlock officiating. Burial followed under direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
Moody, the son of Thomas Savage and Pearl (Walker) Moody, was born March 10, 1906 in Eureka Springs, and died August 20, 1992, in Berryville, AR.
He was a dairy farmer and a member of the Westside Christian Church in Berryville, AR.
On February 3, 1932, he was united in marriage with Mirtie (Patty) Moody, who surved him. He is also survived by his daughter, Pat Chaney of Berryville; one grand daughter, Hedda Etherington of Berryville; a grandson, Burton Chaney of Green Forest; a great grand daughter, Ashley Brook Chaney of Green Forest; two brothers, Charles "Luck" Moody of Berryville and Bill Moody of Okmulgee, OK.
