PEA RIDGE — Alice Marie Henson, 70, of Pea Ridge died Saturday, Oct. 8, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born March 3, 1941, to Clyde Don Nida and Georgia Gertrude Sparlin Nida.

She was a member of Granny's Quilts of Love and a volunteer at Pea Ridge Community Library. She was a member of Pea Ridge Freewill Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her husband Don Henson; one sister, Madge Bland; four brothers, Richard, Jimmy, Wayne and Daryl Nida. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors are one son, Jim Henson and Beth of Pea Ridge; two daughters, Judy Frost and Mike of Bentonville and Trish Fitzner and Jerry of Pea Ridge; four brothers, Bobby Nida and Marsha of Delaney, Ark., Jerry Nida and Jeanette of Garfield, Paul Nida of Dallas, Texas, and Larry Nida and Linda of Pea Ridge; two sisters, Nancy Pendergraft and Ralph of Tontitown, and Doris Nida of Rogers; five grandsons; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation is set for 5 to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 10, at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Funeral is set for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, at First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge. Burial will be at Pea Ridge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pea Ridge Freewill Baptist Church, 351 Lee Town Road, Pea Ridge, AR, 72751.
