Dr. Marion Lafayette Barnes was born Jan.11, 1843 in Jefferson Co., Tennessee. He served in the Civil War. Dr. Barnes married Sarah Ellen Lesley who was born Aug. 21, 1844 in Cedar County, MO. She passed away Nov. 16, 1906.
