Grace P. Thomas
FAYETTEVILLE — Grace P. Thomas, 87, of Fayetteville died April 17, 2004, at Fayetteville. She was born Aug. 13, 1916, in Japton to James Daniel and Martha Shipp Hawkins. She was a Baptist and a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and visiting the senior center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Thomas, in 1987.
Survivors include two daughters, Irene Haskins and Fern Taylor, both of Fayetteville; five grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Walnut Grove Cemetery near Crosses with the Rev. George Boatwright officiating. Arrangements are by Memorial Funeral Home in Springdale.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdasy at the funeral home. The family will be present from 3 to 5 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Mike Shea, Mark Shea, Bob Easter, Ricky Easter, Ronnie Curry and Louis Roller.
