Donald Ray Wheeler, 41, of Crossett died Saturday, April 28, 2001, in Hermitage. Born September 15, 1959, in Miami, AZ, to Joe Fred and Mary Frances Williams Wheeler, he attended the Crossett Full Gospel Church. He was a member of the Crossett Covenant Riders and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arter Williams and Mr. and Mrs. Rolan Wheeler, all formerly of Warren.
Survivors include his parents, Joe Fred and Mary Frances "Fannie" Wheeler of Crossett; a son, Donald Brian Wheeler of Harrison; a daughter, Anastacia Rose Wheeler of Portland, TN; four brothers, Ronnie and Paul Wheeler of Crossett, Ken Wheeler of Conway and Randy Wheeler of Burnet, TX; and a sister, Beverly Ellis of Fountain Hill.
Pallbearers were to be Crossett Covenant Riders Terry Lochala, Ken Turner, Jamie Watkins, Carl Stahley, Donald Wheeler, Frankie Weaver, Cary Wyatt, John Jackson and David Wheless. Honorary pallbearers were to be Don Holland and other members of the Crossett Covenant Riders.
