James Lee Kelly, 22, of Crossett died Tuesday, October 11, 2005, at the Ashley County Medical Center. Born December 30, 1982, in Monticello to James Edward Kelley and Ruby A Strickland. He loved to hunt and fish.
Survivors include his wife, Misti Kelly; his mother, Ann Crass and husband Scott; his father, James Edward Kelly and wife Rita; his grandparents, Scott and Janie Johnson and James and Carolyn Lemley, all of Crossett; his step-grandparents, Michael and Leona Cross of Hamburg and Virginia Faulk of Crossett; one sister, Christa Rainey; one brother, Marcus Rainey; one step-brother, David Miles Jr.; one step-sister, April Barnett, all of Crossett; a special uncle, Tony Strickland; and a host of other relatives. He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Lorene Miles.
Pallbearers were Daniel Warren, Scott Wilcoxin, Greg Burnside, Bud Livingston, David Miles Jr. and Eugene Barnett. Honorary pallbearers were Tony Strickland, Robert Kippen, Jimmy Don Kelley and Terry Barnett.
