Bradford Bruce Burrow, 67, a resident of Lakeview formerly of Bethalto, Illinois passed away on Friday, June 8, 2012, at his residence.

He was born February 11, 1945, in Hillsboro, Illinois to the late Bradford William and Grace Rufus Burrow. Mr. Burrow served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. During his military service he was involved in the Cuban Missile Crisis and received a Purple Heart. After his military service he began working for Coats Steel Ball Production in Greenville, Illinois as a steelworker and then retired from Shell Oil Company after 20 years of service as a turnaround coordinator. He married Lynnette Sue Burton on June 14, 1980, in Belleville, Illinois. After retiring he relocated to the Twin Lakes area in 1993. Mr. Burrow was an avid fisherman and hunter; he also loved camping and boating.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Mike Banner and Darrell and Bill Burrow and two sisters, Delores Burrow and Barbara Goffner.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Lynnette Burrow of Lakeview; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Richard and Laura Burrow of Ransom Canyon, Texas and Christopher Wall of Collinsville, Illinois; two daughters and a son-in-law, Michelle Burrow Clanton of Smithboro, Illinois and Andrea and Curtis Wesoloski of Bethalto, Illinois; eight grandchildren, Elijah and Aubrey Burrow, Kara and Kyle Wesoloski and James III, Jason, Brook and Brandon Clanton and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at the Burnt School House Cemetery in the Lone Rock community with Pastor Shane Milner officiating. Burial with military honors provided by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ozark Post 3246 will be under the direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ozark Post 3246 in Mountain Home.
