Double funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in Reed and Culver Funeral Home, Tahlequah, Okla., for Ross Jerome Allred and his mother-in-law, Mrs. Bobbie Kidd Lindsey, both of Tahlequah, former residents of Bentonville, who died within a few hours of each other March 13. Alfred died in a Tahlequah hospital after an apparent heart attack at his home. Mrs.. Lindsey died a few hours later while discussing funeral plans with her daughter.

Allred, 56, was born Nov. 30, 1918, at Avoca, the son of Fred and Myrtle Roadecape Allred, attended Rogers schools and was graduated from Bentonville High School and the University of Arkansas. He was a lieutenant in World War II, moved to Tahlequah in 1955 and was in the hardware business. He was a juvenile parole officer with the Oklahoma Department of Institutions, Social and Rehabilitation Service, and served as an elder in the First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bonner Jane Lindsey Allred of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Bobbi Leslie Young, Tahlequah, Okla.; his mother of Neosho, Mo.; four brothers, Darwin Allred and Owen Allred, Neosho, Mo., Joe Allred, Mountain Home, and Fredrick Allred, San Jose, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Alberta Beck, Bentonville, Mrs. Marjorie Bains, Baytown, Tex., and Mrs. Irene Ward, San Jose, Calif.

Mrs. Lindsey, 78, was born May 30, 1896, in Drew County, the daughter of Jemmie L. and Bonner Kidd and the widow of Vol Lindsey, who died Oct. 17, 1959. She was a member of St. Basil's Episcopal Church in Tahlequah, Friends-in-Counsel Study Club, Park Hill Extension Homemakers Club and was recently given a pin
for 50 years service in the Red Cross.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Grace Jean Hines, Bentonville, and Mrs. Bonner Jane Allred, Tahlequah; one sister, Mrs. Grace Wallace, Dallas, Tex.; and one grandchild.

Following services at Tahlequah, a double graveside service will be heid in, Bentonville Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Forkner officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Bentonville.
