Funeral services were held at the home Saturday afternoon with burial in the Bentonville cemetery. Rev. F.A. He was married to Miss Sallie T. Wallace on Oct. 2, 1887. To this union were born two sons and three daughters. These with his widow survive him: I.E. McMurry of the home; Paul E. McMurry and Mrs. Roy Venable of St. Joseph; Mrs. G.R. Oxford, Centerton and Mrs. H.C. Evans, Pea Ridge. In early manhood he joined the First Methodist church in Decaturville and on moving here transferred his membership to the M.E. Church South. He joined the Masonic lodge when 21 years of age and had been a faithful member of his lodge and church till his death. Mr. McMurry and his family moved here in 1921 and after living in Bentonville a short time purchased a farm on Pea Ridge adjoining the Jim Stroud farm where he lived until about six years ago when he traded his place for his present farm near Vaughn.
