M J "JOE" RED
Marion Joseph "Joe" Red, 69, 801 E Central St, Bentonville, died Dec. 25 in the VA Hospital in Fayetteville. Born March 18, 1909, in Bentonville, he was the son of Charles Robert and Myrle Lee Hutcheson Red and a lifetime resident of the area. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nellie Jane Anthony Red of the home; four brothers, Harry Red and Tom Red of Yuba City, Calif., Charles Red of Bentonville and Eugene Red of Springdale; one sister, Mrs. Mary Geneva Stalions of Yuba City, Calif.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Burns Funeral Home, Bentonville, with the Rev. Roy Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Bentonville Cemetery. Visitation hours will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday in Burns Bentonville chapel.
