Brenda Kay (Friedline) Childers Black, 49, of Cabot, Arkansas passed away peacefully Saturday, March 12, 2011. She was born December 21, 1961 in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma to Jim and Pat Friedline.
She was preceded in death by her father. She was a member of Briarwood Baptist Church in Cabot. She is survived by her mother, Pat Friedline of Austin; two sisters, Cindy Walton of Austin and Anna Underwood (Darren) of Jacksonville; two children, Shanity Childers and Reece Childers, both of Cabot. She was a loving grandmother to Shaileigh, Gracie and Breylin and was looking forward to the birth of James Dean, due this spring. She is also survived by a loving and loyal companion, Jerry Black of Little Rock.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Memorial services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday at Briarwood Baptist Church with Brother Fred Reddoch officiating.
