Dave Kinman passed away December 3rd, 2011 at his home with Joy by his side. He was a loving husband and father. Dave was born on May 19th, 1945 to loving parents Ralph Dave Kinman and Betty Elaine Pierce Kinman in Mammoth Springs, Ark. Shortly after, he made Jacksonville his life-long home. He graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1963. Dave then graduated from Arkansas Tech University with honors and a degree in engineering. He then served his country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. Dave married his best friend and love of his life, Joy May, on May 16th, 1998. Dave was a very talented homebuilder, since 1969, receiving many honors in the home building industry, including building over 2,000 homes. In 1980 he and long-time friend, Tommy Bond, began Bond Kinman Construction and were very successful.

Dave was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Dave Kinman in 1993, brother-in-law, Dan May in 1979, and sister-in-law, Judy May Patrick in 2002. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Joy. His mother, Betty Kinman. His sons, Dalin (Connie), Drew Walker (Megan) and Blake Walker (girlfriend, Amberlie Jones). His four legged child Caddy. A sister, Brenda Stanley. His chosen brother, Don Horton (Margaret). His in-laws, Dewitt and Shirley May (of Hernando, Miss.). Brother-in-law, John May (Kathy), sister-in-law, Janet Caldwell (Ronald), and brother-in-law, Rick Patrick (Sharon). His many nieces and nephews. And His dear friends, Cheryl Woolfe, Jimmy Huffman, Carol Swiderski, and Mary Hardcastle.

The Kinman family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Ron Fewell and his wife Kathy. As well as, Dave's wonderful doctors and the staff at Springhill Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at First United Methodist Church in Jacksonville with Scott Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at the funeral home.

Dave requested Tommy Bond, Mike Wilson, Jimmy Huffman, Billy Hall, Brian Long, Gary Brockington, Nathan Ellis and Bob Hardin to serve as his pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are John Davis, Ralph Ellis, Vernon Driskill and Charlie Ware. The family suggests memorials be made to Life Fellowship Church, 1415 W. Main, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076.
