Wanda Jean Taylor Goodwin, 68, of Crossett died Friday, May 14, 1999. Born September 7, 1930, to Ervin and Flossie Mae Voss Taylor, she was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, cooking and quilting. She was preceded in death by her husband, Porter W. Goodwin, Sr. Survivors are two sons, Dwight Goodwin of Crossett and Wesley Goodwin of Petal, MS; two daughters, Patricia Pogue of Mesquite, TX, and Sandra Smith of Choudrant, LA; three brothers, Buddy Taylor of Crossett, Homer Taylor of Crossett and Keith Taylor of Eudora; a sister, Margaret Patrick of Lake Village; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Monday, May 17, in the Jones Funeral Home chapel in Crossett with Rev. Dan Webb officiating. Pallbearers were Randy Fortner, Toby Brown, Matt Smith, Josh Sivils, Jeff Pogue and Jason Goodwin. Burial followed services at the Dry Bayou Cemetery.
