Duane E. Wilbanks, age 50, of Little Rock went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 31, 2012. He was born September 17, 1961 in Newport News, Virginia to Joseph Wilbanks and Barbara Clark George. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Paul Wilbanks, and a child Baby Banksey. He was regional director for Pat Salmon and Sons, he previously worked for Arkansas Armored, and Coca Cola. He was a 1980 graduate of Northeast High School and was of the Lutheran faith.
He is survived by his wife Felicia Dorsey Wilbanks, daughters, Sarah (Brandon) Rout of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Kelly (Louis) Szuch of Columbia, South Carolina, his mother, Barbara George and step-father, Henry George of Pella, Iowa, step-mother, Andriana Wilbanks of O'Fallon, Illinois, brothers; Dennis (Eve) Fairchild of Jacksonville, Florida, Darrin (Holly) Fairchild of Pella, Iowa, four nephews and one niece.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Friday, February 3, 2012 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Mayerhoff officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Little Rock Food Bank, and Arkansas Hospice.
