Brandon "Sport" Joseph Scott, 19, of Jacksonville passed away Monday, May 16, 2011. He was born December 14, 1991 in Jacksonville. Scott attended Jacksonville High School. He was preceded in death by a niece, Destiny Nichole Scott.
Survivors include his mother, Deborah Majors (Joseph Holloway), his father, Paul Keith Scott, Sr., his special father, Robert Dale Newman, brother, Paul Keith Scott, Jr.; sisters, Jennifer Nichole Scott, and Candace Newman; grandparents, Stewart (Jenny) Foster, and Larry (Barb) Majors, niece, Summer Leeann Scott; two special cousins, Jasper and Jacus Majors Shores, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, May 20, 2011 at the funeral home.
