BRENDA LEE FLOYD, a resident of Berryville, was born Aug. 28, 1957, in Morenci, Ariz., a daughter of Jack and Ethlyn (Jones) Overall. She died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009, in Berryville, at the age of 51.
Mrs. Floyd was a member of the Metalton United Baptist Church, National Education Association and Arkansas Education Association. She was a teacher at Berryville Public Schools.
On June 10, 1973, Brenda was united in marriage with Kelly Floyd, who survives her of the home. She is also survived by one son, Allen Floyd and wife Kimberly of Kingston; one daughter, Lynn and husband Travis Faught of Farmington,; her parents, Jack and Ethlyn Overall of Kingston; one brother, Russell Overall and wife Connie of Berryville; four grandchildren, Faith Floyd, Ashlyn Floyd and Chism Floyd all of Kingston, and Landyn Faught of Farmington; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.
