Venita Kathleen Sellers, a resident of Berryville, AR, was born April 19, 1931 in Fort Worth, TX, a daughter of John D. Sr. and Bertha (Adams) Moncrief. She departed this life Monday, Feb. 13, 2012 in her home in Berryville, at the age of 80 years.
Venita was an artist. She was a past president of the Eureka Springs Art Guild and also a member of Southern Heights Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, David Allison Sellers and wife Diane of Lead Hill, AR; three daughters, Rebecca Kathleen and husband Raymond Crosier of Springdale, AR, Sharon Elizabeth and husband Tony Williams of Idaho and Melinda Marie and husband Greg Gifford of Berryville; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one nephew; and a host of other family and friends.
On Oct. 14, 1950 Venita was united in marriage with Harry Allison Sellers who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her parents, John Sr. and Bertha Moncrief; one brother, John D. Moncrief, Jr.; and one son, Daniel Floyd Sellers.
