Mable Virginia Webb, a resident of Berryville, AR, was born October 23, 1917 in Dry Fork, AR, a daughter of Marion and Mary (Carr) Whiteley. She departed this life Thursday, July 14, 2011 in Berryville, at the age of 93 years.

Mable was a member of the Metalton United Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Milton Webb and wife Pam of Vilonia, AR; three daughters, Maxine and husband Harold Collins of Green Forest, AR, Pat and husband Jerry Spurlock of Green Forest, AR and Beverly Webb of Little Rock, AR; one daughter-in-law, Doris Webb of Nashua, NH; one sister, Ruth Webb; eight grandchildren: Michelle Sullivan of San Francisco, CA, Pam Webb of Nashua, NH, Cindy Cole of Benton, AR, Patrick Collins of Berryville, AR, Ginger Roberts of Green Forest, AR, Heather Partee of Vilonia, AR, Brian Spurlock of Bergman, AR and Brent Spurlock of Green Forest, AR; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a multitude of other family and friends.

On December 2, 1934 Mable was united in marriage with Idus Webb who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Mary Whiteley; five brothers: Lonnie, John, Monroe, Polk and Jesse Whiteley; four sisters: Minnie Johnson, Lydia Haley Carter, Ree Keck and Cleta Armstrong; one son, Billy Eugene Webb; and one great-grandchild, Whitney Nicole Collins.

On behalf of the family we would like to thank the following for their tireless and loving care of Mable: Dr. Spann and staff, Jim Shell, Dr. Taylor and the caring staff of St. John's Hospice (Kari, Tracy, LaDonna, Peggy and Marge) and Ramona Autrey.
