Thomas Earin Wilson, a resident of Green Forest, AR, went to his Heavenly home on Feb. 11, 2012 at the age of 73 years. He was born Aug. 24, 1938 at Metalton, AR, the son of Frank and Lillie (Ramsey) Wilson.
From the time Tom accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior as a teenager, his greatest desire was to be found doing the Lord's work. He was united in marriage with Mickey Burks on Sept. 23, 1966 and together they pastored at several churches over the years. He faithfully worked at Tyson Foods for over 40 years.
Tom is survived by Mickey, his wife of 45 years; his son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Lea Wilson of Berryville; his daughter and son-in-law, LaJena and Michael Clark of Green Forest; two grandsons, Darren Clark and Shane Wilson; two granddaughters, Kyla Wilson and Dakyn Clark; three brothers, Dearl and wife Adine Wilson of Marble, Don and wife Jane Wilson and Gary Wilson of Berryville; three sisters, Loretta and husband Bill Ross, Ida and husband Jim Gage and Linda and husband Cecil Armer, all of Berryville; one sister-in-law, Van Noy Wilson of Springdale; many nieces and nephews; his church family of 25 years at Rule United Baptist Church; and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Lillie Wilson; two brothers, J.C. and Verlin Wilson; and three sisters, Mary Lou Wilson, Verna Fancher and Lucy Root.
