Nora Barton
ROGERS — Nora Rachel Barton, 95, of Rogers died Oct. 14, 2005, at her home. She was born Feb. 13, 1910, in Carthage, Mo, to J.D. and Dora A. Cobb Botts. She lived in Independence, Mo., for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil F. Barton, in 1993.
Survivors include one son, Francis Botts of Independence; one sister, Hazel Beesley of Siloam Springs; three grandchildren, Kathy Honig and husband Don of Onaga, Kan., Keith Botts of Independence and Kim Webster and husband Henry of Jupiter, Fla.; four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers with the Rev. Lanny Freeman officiating.
