OBIT -- Dallas Wayne Tyson, age 79 of Nashville, Arkansas, passed away, Monday, May 14, 2012 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born in Beverly, Ohio to the late Walter and Kathaline Stiers Tyson. He was retired from Tyson Foods in Nashville. Mr Tyson was a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Army where he served 1 tour in Korea and 2 tours in Vietnam, receiving 2 Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star. He loved tinkering with things, always able to fix them. He loved helping people, and his hobby was work. He was a Baptist and attended New Life Church in Nashville. Preceding him in death were two sisters: Maxine Tyson of Beverly, Ohio and Loretta Smith of Merritt Island, Florida.
Survivors include his wife, Ana Marie Chandler Tyson of Nashville; two daughters, Gloria Tyson Markus of Little Rock & Cathie Marie House & husband Lee of Arkadelphia; two brothers, Russell Tyson of New Lexington, Ohio & Ronald Tyson & wife Helen of Beverly, Ohio; 3 grandchildren, Henry Jones, Candice Jones & Alicia House; & 3 great grandchildren, Henry Jones, IV, Dallas Jones, & Camryn Young.
