ELAM, Mrs. Wallace W. - {from Mason Valley} The death angel has again entered our community and has taken the beloved wife of W.W. Elam. Mrs. Elam died Friday morning at 3 o'clock and was laid to rest in the Coffelt cemetery Saturday. She leaves a husband and ten children who were all present but three. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of this community. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. John Scoggins of Decatur.

{from Highfill} Death has again come into our midst and taken the much beloved wife of Wallace Elam, who died at her home July 25, 1913 of heart
trouble and pneumonia, aged fifty-seven years. She leaves besides a grief-stricken husband, ten children to mourn the loss of wife and mother. We extend our sympathies to the family in their sad bereavement.
