Nina D. Farrer entered into rest on May 29, 2005 at the age of 88.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hye Farrer. She is survived by her son, Dr. Donald N. Farrer and his wife Colene and one granddaughter, Suzanne Farrer.

She was born in Morrilton, Arkansas, grew up on Petit Jean Mountain, and lived in Hayward, California for many years until her husband retired and they returned to their Arkansas roots, settling in Hot Springs.

She was an active member of Bethel Temple Assmebly of God Church in Hayward and joined First Pentecostal Church of God when she relocated to Hot Springs. In each case, she was devoted to charitable activities and taught Sunday School, as her health permitted, working tirelessly to help others in need.

Her hobby was hand crafting pottery, and she was proud of her collection of artifacts. When her health deteriorated, she moved to Spring Branch, Texas to live with her son and his wife. She joined the First Baptist Church and was as active as health permitted.

Visitation and funeral services will be held in the chapel at the Caruth-Hale Funeral Home on June 3, 2005. Visitation will be at 12 noon, the service at 1 p.m. and burial to follow at Liberty Cemetery near Ola, Arkansas.
