Wayman Brady

EVANSVILLE — Wayman D. "Wayne" Brady, 75, of Evansville died Feb. 26, 2006, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born Feb. 16,1931, in Wetumka, Okla., to James Earl and Lena Belle Wolverton Brady. He was an Army veteran. He was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. He was a construction superintendent and contractor and was a member and deacon of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Lincoln.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Brady of the home, to whom he was married June 25, 1954; two sons, Michael Wayne Brady of Evansville, Patrick Dean and Becky Brady of Evansville; one daughter, Shawn Diane and husband Michael Clement of Bella Vista; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Franklin Doyle Brady of Lake Village, Alva Earl Brady of Dinuba, Calif, and Weldon Keith Brady of San Marcos, Calif.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Lincoln with Billy Cooper officiating.

Arrangements are by Nelson-Berna Funeral Home, Fayetteville.
