PEA RIDGE — C.L. Morgan, 82, of Pea Ridge, died Monday, Jan. 16, 2012, at NW Medical Center of Benton County. He was born Oct. 18, 1929, to Garfield to Virgil Greene Morgan and Iva Ellen Patterson Morgan.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving as a CPL in the 43rd Infantry, 118th Engineer Division in Germany.
He worked in home construction in the Pea Ridge and Bella Vista areas, was a farmer and drove a school bus for the Pea Ridge School District for many years.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Morgan; and one granddaughter, Cristy Graham.
Survivors are one daughter, Debra Graham of Pea Ridge; three sons, Jerry and Roxie Morgan of Rogers, Myrle and Shelley Morgan, and Carroll and Kristi Morgan, all of Pea Ridge; one brother, Myrle Gene Morgan of Washburn; one sister, Martha Sue Demaree of Washburn; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral service is set for Thursday, Jan. 19, 10 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge. Burial will be at Pea Ridge Cemetery.
Visitation is set for today, Jan. 18. 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

PEA RIDGE — Betty Morgan, 73, of Pea Ridge died July 8, 2008, at Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville. She was born Sept. 21, 1934, in Pea Ridge to John and Hazel Crabtree Dryden.
She was employed by Debbie & Danny Dare in Bentonville, Phillips Grocery in Pea Ridge and retired after 11 years from the Pea Ridge School cafeteria as a cook. She was a Sew N Sew Quilter in Pea Ridge.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Cristy Graham.
Survivors include her husband, C.L. Morgan of Pea Ridge; a daughter, Debra Graham of Pea Ridge; three sons, Jerry Morgan and wife Roxie of Rogers, Myrle Morgan and wife Shelley of Pea Ridge and Carroll Morgan and wife Kristi of Pea Ridge; a brother, Billy Dryden of Pea Ridge; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Pea Ridge Church of Christ with Malcolm Scott officiating. Burial will be in Pea Ridge Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
