Linda "Lynn" Kay Teague, 58, of Bella Vista died Wednesday, July 14, 2004, at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County in Bentonville. She was born Jan 1, 1946, in Marshall, the daughter of Virgil L. and Vernelle L. Battershell Wells.

She had lived in Northwest Arkansas for over 30 years. She enjoyed gardening. She was very capable of accomplishing anything she put her mind to.

She was an avid member of Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church.

She was a hairstylist and an entrepreneur and a member of the Board of Cosmetology in Arkansas for over 30 years. She owned and operated Scissor Shapes and she touched the life of all who knew her. She was very family oriented. She had two very special dogs, Skittles and Newman.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Vernelle L. Battershell Wells; one brother, Jackle Wells; one sister, Terri Gayle Wells; one great-granddaughter, Madison Shea Francis and the father of her children, Jackson Wayne Horton.

Survivors include her father, Virgil L. Wells of Enid, Okla.; one son, Jeffrey Wayne Horton of Springdale; three daughters, Elizabeth Kay Horton of Fayetteville, Kelli Leia Horton Counts of Bella Vista and her husband Larry Counts, Kerri Shannon Teague Dutton of Fayetteville and her husband Kelly Dutton; 10 grandchildren, Marybeth Sells of Elkins, Todd Horton of Watts, Okla., Steven Hailey Jr., Jason Hailey and Andrew Hailey, all of Fayetteville, Lauryn Kaye Francis and Chase Alden Francis, both of Bella Vista, Ashton Elizabeth Coleman of Springdale, Kelsey Ray Dutton of Fayetteville and Gracey Aneice Dutton of Fayetteville; one great-granddaughter, Jamison Sells of Elkins.

Pallbearers will be Larry Counts, Jeff Horton, Kelly Dutton, Chase Francis, Steven Hailey and Jason Hailey.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church and the Circle of Life Hospice Team.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 17, 2004, at Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Carl Staten officiating. Interment will follow in Little Flock Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday, July 17 at the church. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to the Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 4010 Rocky Ridge Trail, Rogers, 72756.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Stockdale Funeral Services in Rogers.
