Mrs. Joy Ruth Austin, 55, Decatur, died suddenly at her home Oct. 1. Born Dec. 19, 1919 in Gravette, she was the daughter of James F. and Rosa Manos Neal and a member of the Assembly of God.
Survivors include her husband, Dick Austin of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Sherry Ann Johnson, Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. Sheryl Gaye Cherry, Gentry; her mother, Mrs. Rosa Kincaid, Decatur; one brother, Bud Neal, Jay, Okla.; one step-sister, Mrs. Ina Jane Thomas, Toledo, Ohio; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Decatur Assembly of God with the Rev. Roy McGaughy and the Rev. Jack Austin officiating. Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
