WASHBURN, Mo. — Freddie Charles Spencer 81, of Washburn, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 29, at his home. He was born May 7, 1929, at Monte Ne, to Albert Stanton Hall and Ida Ruth McGarrah Hall. He served in the U.S. Army as a corporal where he was a radio announcer and writer. He was a lifelong resident of the area and was employed at Daisy Manufacturing, retiring after 15 years as a supervisor. He also served as pastor for Piney Point Baptist Church for 12 years. He enjoyed feeding and watching the hummingbirds. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Yvonne Spencer.
Survivors are two sons, Mike Spencer of Pea Ridge, and Fred Spencer and wife Ann of Washburn; two grandchildren, Shay Spencer and wife Kriss of Washburn, and Stephenie Jo Spencer of Pea Ridge; two great-grandchildren, Mati Spencer and Kade Spencer bath of Washburn.
Graveside service is set for 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 1, at Pea Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge. No visitation.

PEA RIDGE — Yvonne Spencer, 76, of Pea Ridge, died Sept. 12, 2008, in Washburn, Mo.
She was born Feb. 22, 1932, in Pea Ridge to Edgar Clyde Messer and Lennie Bell Hall Messer.
She was a lifelong resident of Pea Ridge and married Freddie Charles Spencer on April 27, 1948, in Pea Ridge. She retired from Daisy Manufacturing in Rogers after 15 years. She enjoyed reading and was a member of Piney Point Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Mike Spencer of Pea Ridge, and Fred Spencer and wife Ann of Washburn; two brothers, Dean Messer and wife Minta Bell of Pea Ridge, and Gene Messer of Booneville; two grandchildren, Shay Spencer and wife Kriss of Washburn, Stephenie Jo Spencer of Pea Ridge; two great-grandchildren, Mati and Kade Spencer both of Washburn.
Graveside service is set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Pea Ridge Cemetery with Steve Hoover officiating. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge.
