Nettie Vera Bennett
CLIFTY---Nettie Vera Bennett, 70, of Clifty died July 4, 1998, at a local nursing home. She was born July 20, 1927, in Lowell, to Arthur and Vera Conley Cox. She retired from Daisy Manufacturing after 26 years and was a member of the Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Lowell. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Farris Trotter, Jr.; one daughter.
Survivors include her husband, Keith Bennett of the home; one son, Ronnie Trotter of Rogers; one stepson, Arthur Bennett of Clifty; two stepdaughters, Arlene Oney of New York and Debbie Frazier of Clifty; eight grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Rogers City Cemetery with the Rev. Elvis Dudley officiating. No visitation is scheduled.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
