JOHN HOMER WING
John Homer Wing, 81, Westville, Okla., died Jan. 25 in a Fayetteville hospital. Born May 30, 1897, at Stafford, Kan., he was a retired farmer, a veteran of World War I, a member of the VEW and a Baptist.
Survivors include four sons, John Wing Jr. of Satanta, Kan., Jack Wing of Anchorage, Alaska, Bill Wing of Summers and Larry Wing of Westville, Okla.; three brothers, Ralph Wing of Potwin, Kan., Ross Wing of Springdale and Lester Wing of Kansas; one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Crawford of Iola, Kan.; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Summers Baptist Church. Burial will be in Summers Cemetery under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home of Lincoln.
