James Smithee
James Smithee, 63, of Springdale died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005 at his home. He was born April 24, 1942, in Springdale, the son of James Wilburn and Hazel McClung Smithee. He was vice president of Multi-Craft Contractors in Springdale.
He was a past president of the Northwest Transplant Support Group, and was a pilot and loved old cars and playing golf.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Smithee of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda (Smithee) and Kiran Dongardive of Springdale; and one granddaughter, Gracie Smithee of Springdale.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20 at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville with the Rev. H.M. Shipp and Dr. Rick Grace officiating. Burial will follow in
Zion Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today, Aug. 19 at the funeral home.
