Eva Nichols Lawson Grayson, 87, of Bentonville, died Thursday, Feb. 10, at Bentonville Manor Nursing Home.

She was born July 9, 1906, near Bentonville to Thomas Andrew Nichols and Nellie Mason Nichols. She worked for Applegate's Drug Store and was a member of First Christian Church, Bentonville. A longtime resident of Benton County, she also lived on a farm near Jane, Mo. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Virgil Lawson and Lawrence Grayson; a son, Wayne E. Lawson; her parents; four brothers, Dewey, Jerry, Rex and Raymond Nichols; and a sister, Juanita Nichols Baker.

Survivors are a daughter, Nellie Sue Lawson Harrison of Rogers; a brother, Harley J. Nichols of San Jose, Calif.; seven sisters, Agnes Williams, Zelma Nichols, Gertrude Brewer and Margaret Mayhall, all of Bentonville, Blanche Styre of Redlands, Calif., and Mary Kirby of Ozark, Mo., and Betty Wright of Little Rock; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral is set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Callison-Lough Funeral Chapel, Bentonville, with the Rev. Gary Hagan officiating. Visitation is set for 5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial is to be in Bentonville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Bates Medical Center or First Christian Church, Bentonville.
