HAGLER, Charlotte Elizabeth HUNTER - Mrs. Charlotte Elizabeth Hagler {nee Hunter} was born in Virginia, July 30, 1843 and died at Centerton, Ark. June 1, 1910; age sixty-six years, eleven months and one day. She was married to L. Hagler in Dade county, Missouri Jan. 27, 1861. Nine children were born to them, five of whom, three boys and two girls, survive her. Four of them went before her to heaven. She had been ill for some time and her friends knew that the end was near. Only a few days ago her friends brought her to the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.F. Mitchell, where she came peacefully to the close of her beautiful life and went to her happy reward. She was converted and joined the M.E. Church, South at sixteen years of age. She lived a pure and useful life and died a happy death. We'll miss her. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a kind neighbor and a true servant of God. She leaves a husband, five children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters, besides many other friends to mourn. The funeral service was conducted by the writer in the Methodist Church at Centerton and we laid her body tenderly away in the cemetery there. R.E.L. Bearden.
