Benjamin (born in TN) married 21 Jan 1842 to Mary Black. They are in Carroll co in 1860 census with 7 children. Meanwhile, Nancy Jane Williams (daughter of Joseph Parker and Rutha Edwards Williams) married 24 May 1857 to Charles Winfield. In 1860 Nancy is in Franklin AR with a one year old daughter – no husband listed. In 1870 Benjamin and Nancy are married and some of his children with Mary are still living in the household. Nancy’s daughter is 11 years old and living as a servant in another household. She marries at age 15.
